So much to say, but the thing that stands out to me the most is how she was like my mom away from home. Always sharing her wisdom to help you make good choices based on her experiences. If she was ever a little sharp she would always giggle just so, when you enlightened her about that tone. She really had your best interest at heart even if you didn't want to hear it. I love her so much and she will be missed, but I swear I can feel that look as she peers down. Her head is tilted and she has a smile on her face, nodding just so, glimmer in her eye.

My precious friend of 48 years......we saw each other through many trials and now you are at rest in the arms of Jesus. Such a blessing. You will be missed! My love to your family, Paula

Linda and I met over 20 years ago. She was my friend, my council, and our Happy Hour storyteller! From all outward appearances we were so different but, at the heart of our cherished friendship, we were just two southern girls who lived for a great drink, straight talk, and true, loyal friendship. From our first conversation to our last, we added value to each other's lives. I am going to miss my friend. All her wise counsel, her giggle that was filled with pure joy and mischief, and those steely, beautiful blue eyes that pierced to the heart of you with their ability to see it all. Linda was a force to be reckoned with and one of the most nurturing people I will ever have the honor to meet. God rest you, my friend, because you have lived a life that was well done! To her family, please know you were her greatest joy, and my prayers are with you today!

Linda was a member of the South Florida Depression Glass Club where we met. We both shared the love of the Cambridge Glass Company with her favorite - Rosepoint. We had many years of fun attending the club meetings, special trips, the Glass Show, and especially her Cambridge study group. Linda & I also shared the love of quilting. During her illness I tried to post on her FB page beautiful quilts that would bring a smile to her face. We are truly sorry she had to go through this. Her smile, knowledge and glow will always be among us. Linda was a wonderful individual whom loved her family deeply. I know she will be miss. I miss her. Linda, may your angel be with you. With loving & fond memories, Prayers & Blessings to her family & friends. Our love, Jack & Betty Surman
