Obituary For Lewis L. Helmick

Lewis L Helmick, 74, passed in his sleep due to complications with heart failure at his home residence on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

He was born February 12th, 1947 in Fayette, WV, to the late Clyde and Imogene Helmick.

Lewis spent a good part of his life as a freight driver, traveling across the US and seeing what this great country had to offer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reminiscing of good times and making memories along the way.

He was preceded in death by older sister, Shirley Thomas and older brother, Orlan Helmick.

He is survived by beloved wife, Mary Helmick; daughters, Amanda and Leslie Helmick; son, Larry Helmick; and daughter, Linda Moles from a previous marriage; sisters, Roberta Fulk and her husband, John and Betty Luallin; nephews, Mike Helmick and his wife Sue, Rick Helmick, Melvin and his wife Vanessa, and Marvin and his wife Linda, Wes Fulk and his wife Rene, and Lester Luallin; nieces, Beth Crews and her husband, Chet and Laura Luallin.

    Bub, my first cousin. When we was younger ever knew your first name was Lewis. When family's came together we would talk, laugh and cry things that happen in the pass. I was glad to have you as a first cousin. God be with you. Miss you Bub. Love Macy
