Lawrence Victor Ashcroft of Raleigh passed away on September 23, 2011 at the age of 74. He enjoyed building and flying large scale model airplanes, reading and studying history and watching English Soccer. Mr. Ashcroft is survived by his wife Margit; son Timothy, daughter Karen and her husband John and two granddaughters Rebecca and Lucy. In lieu of services Mr. Ashcroft has requested donations be made to The American Heart Association, 3131 Rdu Center Drive, Raleigh, NC 27601
