Obituary For Laura Louise Jones
Laura Louise Jones was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, to parents, Henry and Dorothy Shenkle.
Later in life she moved to Washington, DC, where she met her late husband, Norman Jones. There she worked for the federal government as an administrator.
She is survived by her one daughter, Linda Retz, of Raleigh; grandson, Chris Retz, and his wife, Lisa Retz, of Wake forest; and one great granddaughter, Ashleigh Retz.
Laura was an avid reader and loved to take daily walks . She also loved to spend time with her great granddaughter. Laura was loved by everyone that knew her and will be missed dearly.

Dear Linda, Chris, Lisa and Ashleigh Angel ~ I was blessed to know Coalcar and she will be missed very much. I will always remember her big beautiful smile (especially when playing with her "Ashleigh Dashleigh"). She was a lovely lady. All my love and prayers ~ Emmy xoxoxox

Linda, We will all miss Coalcar and remember her by Chris' nickname She was so lucky to have you, Chris, Lisa and of course Ashleigh. She was a Missouri Girl with lots of heart, courage and all of those earthy mid-west virtues our pleasure to have known her. Love to you and yours, the Retz family
