Obituary For Kurt Thomas Walcheske

Kurt Thomas Walcheske, 57, died on June 20, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. Kurt, beloved husband, father, son and brother, leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Kathleen, and their sons, Kurt, Jr., age 23, and Kyle, age 18. He is also survived by his parents, Ervin and Frances Walcheske of Palm Harbor, FL; sisters, Janice Yost, of Reading, PA, and Lynn Gorman, of Palm Harbor, FL. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 4pm, with a visitation to follow. Donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County by calling (919) 828-0890 or at hospiceofwake.org.

Having lost my mother to cancer when I was 19, I can empathize with the difficulties and the feelings this devastating loss brings on.
