Obituary For Kirsten Schmidt Jackson

Kirsten Jackson, 89 of Apex, died Saturday morning, April 2, 2016.

Kirsten Jackson is survived by her two daughters, Susan Durr of Danville, California and Mette Schladweiler of Apex, North Carolina and their husbands along with four grandchildren, Alyssa, Sonja, Jackson and Maxx. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest A. Jackson.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Renaissance Funeral Home 7615 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC 27607 or Accessible Home Care of Mid Carolina, 8315 Six Forks Rd Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27615.

There are so many memories of our childhood, Mette and Susan, growing up in the same neighborhood but one thing that stands out in my memories is your Mom teaching us how to make the red and white woven heart baskets to hang on the Christmas tree.
