Obituary For Kathy Ann Burns

Kathy Ann Burns, 60, of Raleigh, NC died on January 29, 2020 after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She was born and raised in New Jersey, daughter of the late Hubert and Dorothea Arsenault.

After meeting Kevin, they moved to Atlanta, GA in 1985 where their first son, Christopher, was born. In 1990, they moved to Raleigh, NC where they had daughter, Nicole, and son, Michael. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and active member of the community.

Kathy was an incredible artist. Some of her other passions included decorating, floral arranging, shopping, and gardening. These talents led her to be the successful sole owner of Lloyd and Lady Boutique in Raleigh.

Kathy's kind, generous nature was revealed in her charitable efforts. She was on the board of "Overflowing Hands," involved with Make a Wish Foundations, as well as various activities for St. Luke's parish over the year.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kevin; her three children, Christopher (Amber), Nicole, and Michael; her sisters, Cheryl (David), and Denise (James); niece, Danielle (Matt), and nephew, Jeffrey. She has a wonderful relationship with all of her Burns in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:30 pm at the Renaissance Funeral Home. a Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at St. Luke's.

    Kevin, Chris, Nicki and Michael - So many memories with Kathy come to mind and i will cherish each and every one. She was a wonderful friend, wife, mother, sister and aunt.
