Obituary For Katherine West
Katherine West of Raleigh passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 71. She was happily retired after working at St. David's School for 17 years in the business office. She enjoyed traveling, theater, Tar Heel athletics and spending time with her friends, grandchildren and grand-dog. She was also an avid reader and it was her true love throughout her life.
She is survived by her son; Ashley West; daughter-in-law, Andrea West; and two grandchildren, Halle (15) and Caroline (9). She is preceded in death by her mother, Margarette Lanning, of Salisbury, NC.
A visitation will be held on October 17, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Renaissance Funeral Home. The funeral will take place at St.Timothy's Episcopal Church October 18, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - THEMMRF.org
