Johnny and I go way back to the St Joseph Hospital days when he trained me to be a Patient Transporter. You loved the guy the very moment you met him with his infectious smile and the love and compassion he had for people and his job. We worked together over the years and when we didnt we stayed in touch mostly through music and memories. Frankie Vallis "My Eyes Adored You' was a song we would sing to each other because he knew I was a singer,he had asked if I knew the song? I said really Johnny,Im a walking Rock and Roll trivia machine! I would call Kool Kats and ask Wally to play it for him. One of the best memories of him was when I worked temporarily for Seniors Helping Seniors and on more than one occasion i was sent to a house to be with a patient and I knock on the door and who would either answer the door or I would hear his voice in the house? Yep,Heres Johnny! Then we would talk our ears off about the past and especially St Joes.RIP my dear friend, was glad to have the privelage to meet you and get to know you.Noone that I know has ever loved God,Family, Friends, and Life more! My Eyes Will Always Adore You!! Darrell Minnich
