Jack was my father's business partner, and as a result I got to know him well. He was an imposing character, usually smiling, always commanding the room. Being a basketball fanatic, I respected him even more after studying the history of his team and his career. I got to know his whole family and his wonderful wife...he was committed to all of them. He had a positive impact on everything and everyone he touched, and was a hell of a businessman to boot. He will be missed.

Mary Ellen .....Sorry to hear about Jack..... He was so important to my career and to Sue and me personally. We still talk about our short time together in Pittsburgh, Jack turned that station around and we were so glad to be a small part of its growth. Skip Hapner

Mary Ellen and family, I was saddened to learn this morning of Jack's passing. It was only yesterday that I was reminiscing with a mutual friend about my great memories of my years working with Jack at Voyager Communications. He was a tremendous leader, mentor and friend, and I'll always remember him fondly.
