John lived with courage and Faith and optimism. I knew him almost 40 years through being roommates, work, hunting, fishing, and NC State. He was dedicated to his church and family and had splendid demeanor, always helpful and steady. I will miss him a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful wife Nancy and his children.

Nancy and family: Years ago at LETCO we were young, strong and invincible. But the passage of time has taken yet another Law-Man from our midst. John-boy will always be remembered in our stories. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.
