Mr. John Frederick Anderson, 89, of Raleigh, NC (originally from Long Branch, NJ) passed away on September 26, 2022. He was the son of the late David and Helen Anderson. John was born on October 28, 1932 in West Long Branch, NJ. He was a graduate of Monmouth College, served as a medic in the US Army during the Korean War and later became a real estate and insurance broker serving his community with 3 locations. John served on the Board of Monmouth College and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Free and Accepted Masons, both in NJ and NC.

John was united in matrimony to Peggy Anderson in August 2000. As a result of this union John was blessed with 3 step-children, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held on September 29, 2022 at Renaissance Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s memory to the Alzheimer's Association
