Obituary For Jennifer Lynn Neal

Jennifer Lynn Neal passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Jennifer was a Christian and her faith sustained her during her struggle. Jennifer was born in Raleigh on March 18, 1973. She was the much beloved daughter of James E. and Catherine H. Neal, of Raleigh, and the much beloved sister of John A. Neal, of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins of whom her Aunt Susan was also one of her best friends. Her passing leaves a great void in the hearts of her family. Jennifer was greatly sustained in her fight by many close friends who over a period of four months supported her daily with visits, calls, emails and small gifts. Their efforts on her behalf were monumental as were the efforts of the very kind people at Rex Cancer Center. All of these people were greatly cherished by Jennifer and her family. Jennifer was a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and spent her professional career as an interior designer. She owned the firm Southern Veranda which operated in North Carolina and Georgia. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Durham Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army.

I worked with Jennifer over the past 5 years, sewing up her drapery designs. She was always a pleasure to be with. I cannot imagine your grief at this time. I know Jennifer touched a lot of lives and brought beauty into the homes she worked on. Sincerely, Terri Stanley
