Jennifer Gale Fehrenbacher passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 19, 2019. The daughter of George Smith Gale and Alice May Gale, she was born on May 23, 1934 in Batley, England.

Jennie immigrated to the United States in 1968 with her first husband, A John Crowther and her three children. She served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was an avid sailor. She had a fondness for good food and was, herself, an excellent cook. Jennie enjoyed time spent at the gym several days a week. She loved football and was a big fan of the Carolina Panthers.

Jennie is preceded in death by Paul L Fehrenbacher and James G Glenn.

Jennie is survived by her sister, Gillian S. Elliott of Hagerstown, Maryland; her children, David (Dianora) Crowther and William (Patricia) Crowther of Suwannee GA, and Susan (Cris) Baillargeon of Raleigh, NC; her stepchildren, Dan (Mary) Fehrenbacher of Seattle, WA, Tami (Terry) Gaido of St Inigoes, MD, and Randy Fehrenbacher of Corpus Christi, TX.

She is also survived by several grandchildren: Michael (Meghan) Crowther, Nicholas and Steven Crowther, Cris and Carey Baillargeon; Paul, Kate, James, and Mark Fehrenbacher; Josie (Jeff) Bailey; Sam and Luke Gaido; and three great-grandchildren: Kennedy Barnes (daughter of Carey Baillargeon and Mike Barnes), and Adalie and Spencer Bailey (children of Josie and Jeff Bailey). She also welcomed into her life Carey’s fiancé Wayne Strickland and his children Silas and Kathryn.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on November 24, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Renaissance Funeral Home in Raleigh, North Carolina.
