Obituary For Jean Rafferty

Mary “Jean” Rafferty, 87 of Raleigh died June 18, 2014, at her home. She was the Daughter of the late Anne Lane McAllister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years; John F. Rafferty and her eldest son John F. Rafferty Jr. She is survived by two sons; Tom and wife Donna, grandchildren Michael Rafferty and Rachel Rafferty of Roanoke TX; Steve and wife Martha, grandchildren Stephen Rafferty Jr., Katherine Rafferty, and John Patrick Rafferty of Raleigh; her daughter Mary Jane Kruse and husband Charlie, grandchildren Melissa Kruse, Lauren Kruse, and Andrea Kruse of Eden Prairie, MN; Sister Nancy Hagerty of Syracuse, NY. Jean also leaves behind her four legged friend Beau. Her family will miss her feisty nature, caring heart, and infectious laugh. The family expresses deep appreciation to her Medical Physicians; Dr. Ben Fisher, Dr. Mohit Pasi, and Dr. Silvia Ross, and all their staff. The family is thankful for the care givers of Home Instead INC, Particularly Mollie and Ju-Ju. A private Funeral Mass will be held at a later date in her home town of Manchester, New
