I worked with Janet at NCDOT for many years. She was such a sweet, caring woman - a wonderful role model. She was a joy to be around - good laugh - and a pleasure to work with. I know how much she loved playing bridge with her friends - always looking forward to the next game. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. She was indeed a lovely woman who will be missed. Linda Hilton-Cain Raleigh, NC

Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

Have played bridge with her for years, the last time just 2 weeks ago. What a smart, lively, lovely lady she was. My sincere sympathy to her family. Nellie Glover, Knightdale, NC

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Psalm 34:18. "God is close to the broken-hearted and saves those crushed in spirit. "Make God your comfort. He "heals the broken-hearted." Psalm 147:3 and provides "refuge and strength in times of distress." Psalm 46:1
