Jane Catherine Chufar, went to be with our Lord on Friday November 13, 2020.

She was born on November 7, 1932 in University Park, MD to Harry David Eisenhauer and Florence May Foreman. A lifelong nurse, after graduating from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Jane went on to work at Baltimore Hospital Center, Doctor’s Hospital, and Federal government clinics.

In 1958 after meeting at church, Jane married Gene P. Chufar. The 50 years together they spent side by side traveling, entertaining, volunteering at the local hospital, and playing competitive bridge and golf, while “snowbirding” between Ocean Pines, MD and Ft Myers, FL.

Jane’s hobbies also included sewing, knitting, social clubs like Red Hat and Seniors Clubs.

After the passing of Gene in 2008 she moved to North Carolina and married Raymond Bahr in 2012.

Family was very special to Jane. She is survived by her husband Raymond Bahr of Raleigh, NC; her daughter Debbie Fountain (Jody) of Raleigh, NC and son Eric Chufar of Southport, NC. ; grandchildren Steven Fountain (Mary Katharine) of Alexandria, VA, Caroline Andrews (PJ) of Greenville, NC, Brent Fountain of Arlington, VA, Abigail Chufar of Sacramento, CA, Hailey Chufar of Pullman, WA; and 5 great grand children. Also brother Russell Eisenhauer of Silver Spring, MD. She will also be missed by her nephews and niece.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 27, 11am at Renaissance Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s. Or to Wake Forest United Methodist Church 905 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587
