James Preston Bottomly, age 78, passed away on July 30, 2016. James was born in Rainelle, WV to the late Randolph and Ona Bottomly. He retired from IBM, yet his greatest work in life was being a dedicated family man. James loved his family and was a very hard worker. He was proud to have coached his boys’ baseballs teams throughout the years. James dedicated his life, and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Violanda Bottomly. He is also survived by his son Jim Bottomly. daughter Margaret Ellen Bottomly and one granddaughter Nicole Bottomly. He is preceded in death by one son, Richard Preston Bottomly.
