Obituary For Jaelyn Rabella Stallings Johnson

“Dearest Jaelyn, please know our greatest blessing was having you.”

Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel, Jaelyn was called by our Lord. Jaelyn Rabella Stallings Johnson arrived earlier than expected and was born on Friday, July 2,2021 at 8:17 pm to parents Jessica Stallings and William Johnson at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC Jaelyn weighed in at 1-pound and 13-ounces, and was less than a foot long, yet her presence was immediately felt by anyone who came to know her. She was living proof that remarkable things come in small packages. Her smile was infectious, her laugh – exhilarating and her spirit was breath taking.

Her presence will far outlive her time here amongst family. Jaelyn will forever be deeply loved by her mother and father; grandparents Rabella McKinney (Dean), John Stallings (Gail) and Sheila King (Jamison), and William Ferrell; Great-grandparents Wim Vangeerke & Nivea Fernandez and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We were blessed to have her for 11 months before she passed peacefully while surrounded by family and went to her heavenly home at 4:21pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
