Mrs. Jacqueline J. Myers (Jackie), 83, of Raleigh, NC passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from complications of a stroke she experienced three years ago. She was the daughter of the late Thomas "Tommy" B. Johnston III and Helen L. "Lucille" Walsh . Jackie was born May 28, 1936, in Richmond, VA and attended John Marshall High School graduating with the class of 1956.

She was united in matrimony to William B. Myers on March 3, 1956. She had three children: Michael, Bernie, and Ricky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, "Bernie" William B. Myers Jr.; and her brother, Don Thomas Johnston.

She is survived by her spouse of 63 years, Bill, and two sons, Michael Mixon of Tallahassee, FL and Rick (Janet) Myers of Cary, NC and daughter-in-law, Debbie Hughes of Archdale, NC. She had nine grandchildren, Michael Mixon of Chicago, IL, Pete (Amanda) Mixon of Lakeland, FL, Alexandra Mixon of Tampa, FL, Matt (Hannah) Wells of Archdale, NC, Ashley Myers of Wilmington NC, Staci (Brian) Mustard of High Point NC, Thomas Myers of Durham, NC, Amanda Myers of High Point, NC, and Stephanie Myers of Archdale, NC. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Steele of Forest VA, along with a nephew, five nieces and a host of cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her son’s home at 410 East Dynasty Drive, Cary NC, 27513 on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from the hours of 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
