Obituary For Helen Gerber Keller

Helen Louise Keller, 75, of Raleigh, NC passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born on February 6, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Fred and Ruth Gerber.

Helen attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was retired from ABF Freight. One of Helen’s greatest joys was participating in many activities with her church, Soapstone United Methodist. Helen loved to travel, garden, and spend time with the Lake Lynn Senior Club.

Helen is survived by her husband, Donald E. Keller of Raleigh; her son, James F. Keller (Cathy); her daughter, Ann Keller; her grandchildren Jacob and Ethan Keller; and her sister, Sue Smith.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 1:30pm with a funeral service following at 2:30pm at Soapstone United Methodist Church, 12837 Norwood Road, Raleigh, NC, 27613.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Fairley Missions Fund, Soapstone United Methodist Church, 12837 Norwood Road, Raleigh, NC 27613.

    It has been my pleasure to know Helen for some years now and no matter what was going on, you always knew she loved the Lord and her family. She was always kind and considerate to me and she will certainly be missed by me and many others.
