Hazel Pipkin Hunt, 92, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Clyde and Lula Mae Pipkin and four brothers and four sisters and her husband of 61 years, Charles Ray Hunt, Sr. She is survived by one sister, Dollie House, son Charles Ray Hunt, Jr., daughter Anita (Ann) Schell (Mark), grandchildren Heather Ann Lipscomb (Dwyane), Christopher Mark Schell, Garrett Ray Hunt (Claire) and two great grandchildren, Olivia Marie and Sophia Rae Lipscomb and many nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Hugh Morson High School in 1947 and retired from GMAC after 33 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining in her home and music. She was one of the organists at North Raleigh Chapel from 1974 until 2015 when she moved to Pittsboro Christian Village.

A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, March 25th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pittsboro Christian Village, 1825 East Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Pittsboro Christian Village and Liberty Hospice for their care, kindness and support.
