Harvey H. Scheuer, age 95, died peacefully November 26, 2017. Harvey was born September 10th, 1922 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was the son of Meta and Harvey P. Scheuer.

Harvey attended public schools in Waukesha and the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater before enlisting in the U.S. Merchant Marines in 1942.

Harvey married Sarah (Sally) Carmen in 1945 and they were married for 72 years. Sarah proceeded him in death earlier this year. Harvey worked for the Allis Chalmers Corporation (later Siemens) for 38 years.

He retired in 1983, spending time in civic and religious activities, as well as traveling with Sarah.

Harvey is survived by his sister, Norma Scherrer of Waukesha, WI, sons Peter (wife Patti) and Scott (wife Chris) as well as 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Renaissance Funeral Home on Six Forks Road in Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, December, 5th at 4:30pm. Memorial funds may be given to Community Presbyterian Church, 125 Everette Rd. P.O. Box 1449, Pinehurst, NC 28370.
