Obituary For Harold Robert Weeks

Mr. Harold Robert (Bob) Weeks, 87 of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away March 25, 2023, at home.

He was the son of the late Reverend Harold James Weeks and the late Laura Rennow Weeks of Mexico City, Mexico.

He was born July 10, 1935, in Mexico City, Mexico.

He attended McGill Univeristy in Quebec Canada, and was a graduate of Ridley College in Ontario, Canada, and North Carolina State College (now University).

His career was spent around the world in the international refractories industry, retiring as president of Adiance International, Inc.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annis Norris Weeks. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Celia Norris Barnes, his niece Ann Barnes Harmer (Scott), two nephews, William Norman Barnes III (Jan) and Roberto Gonzalez Weeks. Survivors also include great nieces: Kristin E. Barnes, Caroline Harmer Newman (Ryan), Elizabeth Harmer Matthews (Charles), Katherine Barnes Brown (Ethan), Emily Harmer Childers (Miles), and Page Harmer Timms (Montgomery). Also included one great nephew, David Williams Barnes. Bob also delighted in three great great nieces and three great great nephews. Also survived by faithful friends, Matthew and Ginger Taylor.

A Memorial Services will be held at North Haven Church on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations Memorial contributions in Bob's memory may be made to North Haven Church, AE Finley YMCA, or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
