Obituary For Gloria Mina Gottesman

Gloria was born Christmas Eve 1922 to the late Phillip Adam Ehni and Wilhelmina (Minna) Effinger Ehni in New York City, where she joined her two brothers, Phillip and Robert (deceased). She married her childhood sweetheart, the late Albert R. Gottesman, on September 23, 1945. They spent the next 49 years happily married. As each otherâ??s best friend, they worked side-by-side together at the Long Island Better Business Bureau. She is survived by: daughter, Ginny Tessitore and her husband, Ron; three granddaughters, who were the loves of her life: Michelle (Shelly) Tessitore, Heather Tessitore, and Christina Williams and her husband, Spencer Williams. She is also survived by her nephew, Robert Ehni and family of California. Gloria was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a generous and caring person who gave much of herself to others. She will be greatly missed by all she knew and those she touched. There will be a visitation at Renaissance Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20 from 7 to 9 PM. A graveside service will take place at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest on Thursday.
