George Martin Lundy Jr, age 78, lost his battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) on December 9, 2020.

He was born on October 2, 1942 in Warren, OH to the late George Martin Lundy Sr. and Ruth Hall Lundy.

George attended Warren G. Harding public school and went on to earn his BS in Fine Arts at Kent State University. He then graduated with honors and earned his Master’s in Aeronautics at the Academy of Aeronautics in Flushing NY. His love of aviation let him to his career path that included Grumman American, Melex, USA and Smith Insulation as well as various awards in Aircraft Design and Engineering. He was also a proud member of the AOPA. George will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Pupillo Lundy; son, Kenneth George Lundy (Kathy); grandchildren Christopher Wagstaff, Jason Lundy and Erin Post.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Allison Lundy Post.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no service at this time. The family may hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
