Gail Cahoon, age 75 passed away @ 2:53 on May 24,2016.

Gail was born in Goldsboro to Sanford and Gladys Peele.

Gail was an expert seamstress. Creating many designs of her own. One being her daughters wedding gown and bridesmaid's dresses and also her sister's wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses.

After her career in sewing she and her husband went into the hardwood floor business. She not only had an eye for fashion but was also really talented at interior design. From floors to ceilings there wasn't a task too unique or complicated for her to handle.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents Sanford and Gladys Peele and brother Sanford Peele. She is survived by her husband Harry D. Cahoon of Knightdale, twin brother: Gary C. Peele of Zebulon, Brother, Marvin S. Peele of Wilmington, sister, Sandra S. Swails and Joseph T. Swails of Raleigh. Daughters, Cindy Earp and Stanley Earp of Raleigh, Kimberly Finch of Bailey. Sons, Kenneth S. Pittman of Wilmington, Tivis S. Cahoon of Knightdale, as well as 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and nephews and many friends.

Gail loved being with family and friends and had one of the biggest hearts when it came to people in need.

She will be truly missed by all that loved and knew her!!!
