Francis Wassell, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on April 15, 2023. He was 84 years old.

Born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, on January 11, 1939, Francis was the son of Joseph Waseleski and Stella Goreteski. He graduated from Kings College and Wilkes College and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Francis married his beloved wife, Arline Gregorio, in 1962, and they spent over 60 years together. He is preceded in death by his baby daughter Mary Waseleski and his sister Jean Hadduck.

Francis had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was also a talented artist and spent much of his free time creating beautiful paintings and drawings. He loved people and always lent a helping hand to those in need.

Francis will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and warm personality. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held in Francis' honor on Monday April 24, 2023 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Francis will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Harding, PA at a later date.
