To Fran's wife and daughters. I had the privilege of working with Fran in the Metro DC district years ago and want you to know what an excellent partner and friend he was. I know you are all very proud of him and deservedly so. I'm sorry I never got the opportunity to meet you, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Sue,Meghan and Shannon, Words can not begin to express the saddness our hearts feel but it is the words, stories and laughter that will continue to fill our hearts with memories. From Indian Princess Days, beach trips, the cruise and all the other adventures we were fortunate to have Fran in our lives. He may have been a big man but, his heart was even bigger. Dear Sue, Meghan and Shannon, I was so sorry to hear of Fran's passing. He was always full of life and laughter. Fran was always more than a coworker of my dad's. He was a true, loyal friend and my father loved him very much. Fran's love and support could not be stopped my miles. I can still see him walking across the field towards my family the day of the first ALS walk in Richmond. It touched us all deeply for him to have driven such a long way to spend those few hours with us. I am sure that you will hear many stories of his kindness and generosity over the next few weeks. May those warm, wonderful memories help to comfort you during this time of great loss. My heartfelt sympathy.
