Obituary For Eula Craven Womble

Eula Craven Womble, 92, passed away April 9th in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Sanford, N.C. but lived all of her life in Durham. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved her family and surrounded herself with them whenever possible. Eula had a beautiful relationship with her precious husband of 50 years, David Eugene Womble, who passed away in 1994. Along with her family, she cherished her close relationship with the Lord. She was an accomplished prayer warrior, and many requested her special prayers. She loved her many years of singing in the choir and was dedicated to her church, Grove Park. Her forgiveness and unconditional love for people will always be remembered and deeply admired. She set an example for all of us to follow. We feel grateful for her life, her love, and what she brought to this world.

She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Mills and her husband Bobby of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Patsy Kissick and her husband Jerry of Dallas, Texas, and her grandson, David Brown and his two children, David and Anna, of Fort Mill, S. C., and her other grandson, Mark Moss and his wife Tess of Naples, Florida.

A private graveside service took place on Friday, April 15th, 2016, and was officiated by her pastor, Rev. Dale Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: Grove Park Chapel 805 Sherron Rd, Durham, NC 27703

What a wonderful person. I miss her terribly. She was an unbelievable Mother, mentor, listener, friend, fun to always be around, kind, precious to everyone, and a devoted follower of the Lord. I miss u so much Mother but I know u are with Daddy and our Saviour. Your crown in heaven is full of jewels. You introduced so many of us to the Lord. Enjoy every minute. We will all be together eternally!!!

Mother, I miss u and Daddy so much. Its been over two years since u went to heaven. Would love to call u and hear u answer Hello shug. I cant wait to see u and Daddy again. I have pictures of u and Daddy in so many places of my houseZ I have one if the two of u in my vanity and I see u every night before I go to bed. I dream of the two of u a lot. I love dreaming of u but it makes me sad the next day. I know u and Daddy r so happy to be together. I cannot wait til we r together again. No parents could have been better than the two of u. Our life was a dream come true when we were all together and the two of u made it that way for us. Im so happy I got to spend the last four years with u in Dallas. I so wish u had moved there after Daddy died. And so wish we could go back. LIVELOVELOVE in every way to u and Daddy. July 18, 2018
