Obituary For Eula Craven Womble
Eula Craven Womble, 92, passed away April 9th in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Sanford, N.C. but lived all of her life in Durham. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved her family and surrounded herself with them whenever possible. Eula had a beautiful relationship with her precious husband of 50 years, David Eugene Womble, who passed away in 1994. Along with her family, she cherished her close relationship with the Lord. She was an accomplished prayer warrior, and many requested her special prayers. She loved her many years of singing in the choir and was dedicated to her church, Grove Park. Her forgiveness and unconditional love for people will always be remembered and deeply admired. She set an example for all of us to follow. We feel grateful for her life, her love, and what she brought to this world.
She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Mills and her husband Bobby of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Patsy Kissick and her husband Jerry of Dallas, Texas, and her grandson, David Brown and his two children, David and Anna, of Fort Mill, S. C., and her other grandson, Mark Moss and his wife Tess of Naples, Florida.
A private graveside service took place on Friday, April 15th, 2016, and was officiated by her pastor, Rev. Dale Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: Grove Park Chapel 805 Sherron Rd, Durham, NC 27703
