Obituary For Ethel Kilmer

Ethel Kilmer, 87 passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She had been a 9 year resident at Magnolia Glen, Raleigh NC. She is survived by her son Malcolm W. Kilmer and her daughter Maureen E. Braen. She is also survived by 4 loving grandchildren. Stephanie Kilmer-Edmonds and her husband Christopher. Matthew Kilmer and his wife Sarah. Eric and Lauren Braen. And one great-granddaughter Addison Rose Edmonds. She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm O. Kilmer. A memorial service was held at Magnolia Glen on April 13, 2011 attended by many friends she had made there over the years. Burial will take place at a later date to be selected by the family.     Dear Maureen and family, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your mother in the Poughkeepsie Journal this week. Your mom was a wonderful person and it was my pleasure to have known her. I used to marvel at what good friends you both were and how involved she was in your life when we spent all those hours together as aerobic instructors. Whenever your mom saw me she wanted to catch up on all the news and she remembered everything. I am sure you have many moments to treasure. Our deepest sympathy.
