"His Promise is the light by which we see our loved ones safely home." This world, however beautiful, was never meant to be, the place that we would call our home for all eternity. And though we would not choose to leave, a loving GOD knows best-and in his time He lifts us to a place of Peace and Rest. For He has built a Mansion where Mother Washington will abide-Free from pain and sorrow, forever at His side. He said He'd never leave us to face our trials alone. May the love of GOD give you Peace, Comfort and Stength through the days ahead. With Sympathy,Prayers and Love to all, The Barnes/Washington Family

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Washington Family; Ernestine, Anita and Ricky and families. At this time and in days to come when you return to your respective homes and reflect on the memories of your loving mother I hope you feel the love and prayers of others holding and sustaining you. I have very fond memories of Cousin Elzina. I especially remember going to her warm and loving home during Christmas, sitting in front of the fireplace and looking at the Christmas tree. She was such a sweetie. God bless you. Love Cousin Rhonda

My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Washington. Mrs. Washington was a friend of my mother, Hilda Petteway Burke. My fondest memory of Mrs. Washington was giving her a ride home from the Senior Center with my mother. We laughed and talked about anything. Mrs. Washington was a kind, caring person. She will be missed. Bless you all

Dear Ricky, Gayle, and family, We are so sorry for your loss.No matter how long someone lives or how prepared we think we are, when we lose that someone we love, it is a hurtful thing. I hope and know that you find solace in God's sord that He is with you as you go through this sad time just as He is now forever with Mrs. Washington. May He continue to bless you all.

To the Washington Family, I am sorry for your loss. I send my condolences to you and yours. The Bible makes it clear that God did not originally intend for humans to die. Have you ever wondered why we grow old and die? Some sea turtles live for hundreds of years. Certain trees have lived for thousands of years. But humans live just 70 or 80 years and then die. Have you wondered why? Mrs. Washington was bless with a few more years. As the Bible explains: "Through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men." Romans 5:12. After sin and death entered the world, God revealed that it was his purpose that the dead be restored to life by means of a resurrection. Yes, Almighty God has not only the power but also the desire to resurrect persons whom he chooses. Jesus Christ himself said: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come." John 5:28&29; and also read Acts 24:15. May Jehovah God and Jesus Christ be with you and your Family?
