Obituary For Elliott Gallo Mose

Elliott Gallo Mose passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was 15.

Elliott explored several interests during his short life. He was musical from a young age, enjoying singing, and later playing the piano and the trombone. He was an avid reader, frequently insisting on bringing books to the dining table and on trips in the car. He worked to become a good runner, played tennis, surfed and learned Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He was a creative writer, a bright student, and a cub scout. He delivered Meals on Wheels with his dad and volunteered at the Oak City Cares soup kitchen with his mom. He began to struggle with his mental health toward the end of his life. Despite this, he frequently made his parents laugh with his quick wit and sense of humor. He brought light and warmth to the lives of many people.

Elliott is survived, deeply loved and missed by his parents, Malaika Paquiot and Lisle Mose; grandparents, Donna Mose, Gallo Fall and Dr. Dona Vassall-Fall; and aunts and uncles, Dalila Paquiot, Samba Fall, Amadou Fall, Diarra Fall, Rashida Paquiot, Leila Paquiot, Monica Gould and Herbert Gould, Jr.

A Memorial Service for Elliott will be held at 2 PM, December 2 at Renaissance Funeral Home and Crematory, 7615 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615.
