I miss my grandmother and think of her all the time. I learned so much from her love, kindness, hard work, respect and more importantly a strong set of morals and ethics that continue to have a positive influence on me to this day. She may not know the impact she had on so many lives but they were countless. Anyone from the grocery store to the gas station. I also have to credit her for my relationship with my personal savior Jesus Christ. If she hadn't taught me so much and just let me go there's no telling where I'd be. I have been fortunate for her to spend time with me for all these years. Especially the last few before the Lord took her home. I now know SHES looking down upon us and I know that I've made her proud. I Love you Gramdma and it won't be long we'll be able to spend eternity together. Thank you for continuing to give me guidance through the faith in Jesus my saviour. I pray to you both daily. Once again I love you with all my soul and being. See you soon ! Love Jim.

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to make Grandma laugh because her laugh was just the best thing I ever heard. I'll miss that so much. I'm so thankful for the little things Grandma shared with me that no one else ever did like laughing at I Love Lucy, the Golden Girls (both of which I love till this day) and watching old movies like Singing in the Rain and Gone with the Wind. More than anything, Grandma, you taught me about The Lord and there's no better gift. Thank you, Grandma, for my Faith. The greatest gift you can give someone. I know you're with The Lord now and I can't wait to see you again. I love you so much!

Ella was the best mother-in-law a girl could have. She was the kindest person that never had a mean or negative comment about anyone. She was genuine person that cared very much about her family and all of her animals. She would laugh when I would call her the creature lady. My fondest memory of Ella was when the deer were on the back porch just standing out there waiting for her to feed them. I said to her Mom one day they are just going to knock on the door. She will be greatly missed. God Bless all of the Turley family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Hope Turley

My deepest condolences to the Turley family. I loved Ella very much. She was a part of the Hyland family for 40 years or more. I'll always remember her gentle nature with children and animals. My fondest memories include our visits to her lakefront home in Odessa when the kids were little. And her chicken spaghetti! There is another angel in heaven. ~Tricia Hyland

Ella was truly a lovely person. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a charming personality that lite up the room when she walked in. She always made me laugh when she'd talk about her little dog Betsy but most of all she loved her grandchildren and I especially enjoyed the stories she would tell about her son Robert. She will be missed so much by so many people but heaven has a new angel and she's looking down smiling at us all. God bless Ms. Turley and the family she left behind. Aunt Ella will be remembered fondly for many reasons. Her laughter, funny stories, patriotism, stylish dress, love of animals, her faith in Jesus, her love of poetry, work ethic, and much more. Uploaded is a recipe for her "health bread," written in her handwriting, that was placed on a scrapbook page. In case you can't read the recipe it is as follows: "Self-rising cornmeal Flour -- not much Wheat germ About Tablespoon sugar or honey Powdered milk 2 eggs Water to mix Pour in buttered hot pan. Melt enough butter to let it come over batter some. I also put bran and lecithin granules in mine at home -- so I call it health bread." Also have a written recipe for her famous Chicken Spaghetti. If this does not sound like her recipe, someone please correct. CHICKEN SPAGHETTI 1 large chicken 1 stalk celery 1 green pepper 2 pods garlic 3 med. onions 1/2 cup parsley 3 small tomato paste 2 cans mushroom soup Cook hen with salt-pepper. Take out, cool, debone. Chop celery, pepper, garlic, onions and put in pot. Cover with broth from chicken. Simmer 'til done. Add tomato paste and soup. Cook 20-30 minutes. Add 2 packages spaghetti to rest of broth and cook until done. May have to add water. When spaghetti is done, add sauce to spaghetti. Grate cheese on top. We loved her, laughed with her, argued with her, shared memories with her, and look forward to the day when we see her again in heaven. At the Supper of the Lamb, don't be surprised to see a platter of chicken spaghetti. We hope so! Our sympathies to our cousins, her extended family and friends. Lori and Lisa Sanders
