Elizabeth Lee Pipkin, age 88, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2016, at Pittsboro Christian Village in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Elizabeth was born in Raleigh on February 9, 1928, to the late Robert and Erma Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde “C.C” Pipkin, Jr.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Robin E. Pipkin (Molly) of Raleigh and her grandchildren, Stephanie Pipkin Jensen (Jason), Lauren Pipkin and Andrew Pipkin.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 2, at 12:30 p.m. at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The family thanks Pittsboro Christian Village’s staff and residents and the nurses from UNC Hospice for the love and excellent care shown to Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Mountain Top Youth Club, 6311 Sable Lane Greensboro, North Carolina 27406 or UNC Hospice by mailing a check to: UNC Hospice to P.O. Box 1107, Pittsboro, North Carolina 27312 and notating on the check UNC Hospice and the honoree in the memo line.
