Obituary For Edward Fragnito
Edward Fragnito, 91, of Raleigh, formally of Long Island, NY passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Edward was born in Bronx, New York on November 22, 1920. Edward enlisted in the United States Navy in 1939 and was honorably discharged in 1941. He married Helene Harper in 1944. Prior to retirement in 1986 he was employed with New York City OTB as a technical manager. Edward is survived by his wife Helene of Raleigh, four sisters: Adelaide, Philomenia, Gloria, and Margaret, and a brother, George. He was preceded in death by his son Robert Edward Fragnito of New York. Edward also leaves four grandchildren: Christopher, Jason, Frances and Rebecca as well as eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.

Jason and Christina and all the Fragnito family. You are in my prayers, to find peace during your time of loss and grief. I know your grandpa will be missed, but leaves a legacy of a strong and loving family. Everyone that came in contact with your grandpa knew he was a special man.
