Dorothy Rickman, 97, of Raleigh, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Dorothy was born on March 13, 1928, in Crystal City Texas. Dorothy was an avid bridge player and puzzle lover as well as enjoyed many decades singing in her church choir and handbell ensemble.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Rickman, and her daughter Linda Gilbert.

Dorothy is survived by her granddaughters, Andrea Pereira (Lazaro Pereira) and Melissa Lee (Andrew Lee); as well as great-granddaughters Lorelei and Penelope Pereira and her stepdaughter Linda Ann Endicott (Michael Endicott).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 4pm, at Renaissance Funeral Home in Raleigh.
