Dong-Il Choi (13 JAN 1970 - 13 SEP 2024) passed away at the age of 54. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dong lived in East Lansing, MI, College Station, TX, and Columbia, MD while growing up and then settled in Morrisville, NC.

Dong served proudly in the U.S. Navy and saw combat in the Gulf War era. After completing his service, he had a successful career as an electronics technician supporting the U.S. military at home and overseas.

Always a gentle, generous soul, Dong is survived by his parents Young and Jung Choi, his sister Sun Hazel, and his sister’s family Geoff, Bobby, Elizabeth, Katie, and Ben. Uncle Dong left us too soon and will be deeply missed.
