Mrs. Điệp Nguyễn Huỳnh, 55, of Raleigh, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on May 8, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Hồ Nguyễn and Điều Nguyễn. Điệp was born May 6, 1964 in Sà igòn, Việt Nam. She came to America with her family in 1984 and resided in North Carolina.

Điệp was united in matrimony to Nhựt Văn Huỳnh on March 3, 1985. This union was blessed with two children, Quyên and Lisa.

Điệp enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings, shopping, singing in the church choir and singing karaoke with friends. She was full of life, loved all and always had a smile on her face. Her positive outlook was inspiring and brightened every room she entered. She was adored and loved by all who knew her.

Điệp was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Hổ Nguyễn and Hà n Nguyễn, her sisters, Hải Nguyễn and Hà Guthrie.

Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Nhựt Văn Huỳnh; children, Quyên (Ryan) Lux of Nashville, Tennessee and Lisa of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister, Hằng Nguyễn of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister Hường Nguyễn of Raleigh, North Carolina; brother Hân Nguyễn of Durham, North Carolina; sister Hương Nguyễn of Raleigh, North Carolina; brother Huân Nguyễn of Durham, North Carolina; Đăng Nguyễn of Lorton, Virginia; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 12, at Renaissance Funeral Home, located at 7615 Six Forks Rd., Raleigh, NC 27615. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 13, at Our Lady of La Vang, located at 11701 Leesville Rd., Raleigh, NC 27613.
