Obituary For Deborah Ann Woytonik

Debi Woytonik (Brown) 65, died peacefully at Duke Hospital in Durham, NC on 11/19/16 after a determined battle with cancer. Debi is survived by her fiancé, Dr. Irwin Rovner (Cary, NC), her daughters, Desiree Abney (Arthur Sesser)(Gurnee, IL) and Megan Abney (Pensacola, FL) ;grandchildren Marceline and Aisling Sesser; her sisters Charlene Blackwell (Tampa, FL), Carla Brown (Bethesda, MD) and her brother Bob Cornette (New Port Richey, FL).

Debi was born on July 6, 1951 in Canton, OH to Jackie and Charlie Brown. Debi had a long career as an architect/contractor, certified environmental engineer, business developer and entrepreneur. Most recently she was President of Common Ground, a hospitality renovating company.

Besides her professional expertise, Debi is remembered as a loving partner, mother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all who met her.

There will be a private family graveside ceremony at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. A celebration of her life ceremony will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Habitat for Humanity.
