Debbie and Family-- We are so sorry for your loss, to hear about it on Aug 21, can not believe it! Dave was a person FULL of life and always so nice. We will pray for you and the family.

Dave was a wonderful man, with so many endearing qualities, and I'm blessed to say that I knew him. He could always bring a smile to your face, and undoubtedly make you laugh! He was a man of honesty, integrity and compassion for others. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Dear Debbie, Very sorry to learn of your sudden loss.

Debbie, please know you are in my prayers. Life lost is the toughest thing in the world. I hope God brings you peace and strength now, knowing David is Home with Him.

Debbie, my heart goes out to you and David's family. We are never really prepared to lose a loved one but a sudden loss is so much harder. My love and prayers are with you all.

We are blessed to have Dave as our friend and loved him dearly. We are praying your comfort, Debbie, as well as that for all your families. May your memories bring you peace.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Daves sudden passing. Dave was such a wonderful, fun loving, kind hearted guy. He will live on in your cherished memories, of all the wonderful times you two spent together. We always had great times spent with you and Dave. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dave was one of the good guys. We will miss him very much. We are so grateful to have spent quality time with Debbie and Dave over the summer, and will never forget the laughs we shared with him. Dave was one of a kind. We share the sorrow with those who lost Dave.

Dave was such a great guy. He was one of the most caring and down to earth people I have had the pleasure of knowing. My family and I were very lucky to have had him in our lives. Many memories with Dave from his visits to West Virginia, to Christmas parties, to outerbanks vacations. He was a trooper when it came to hanging out with all of us women. We will truly miss him.

So sad about Dave's passing. I will always remember the great times we shared. He was a great guy and so much fun. I have many happy memories of the times we all spent together. I will miss him.

Dave was such a wonderful and cheerful guy! Always had a smile on his face and was the life of the party. The girls and I have so many great memories with Dave from pictionary in the outer banks to singing and laughing at Christmas' at the Maslankas. We are all lucky to have Dave a part of our lives. Daves passing stunned all of us who knew him. His vitality for life was infectious and his loss reminded us of how fragile life can be. I most was struck by Daves sense of humor. He would often make witty remarks that seemed somewhat serious, but humorous at the same time. As I grew to know him I could usually detect the difference, but there were times when I had to ask him, Are you serious? Or, Is that true? The other part of that was that he had vast interests. From music and literature to sports and politics, there wasnt a topic that he that he could not converse about. When he made some glib remark about a topic you knew it could be true. Dave was humorous, knowledgeable and most of all a caring person. He would reach out to those in need, particularly to the DeRosa family when Joes health was failing. To those closest to him, there is a void that can never be filled. For us that knew him, our lives have been enriched by his presence. Thank you Dave!

I will always remember Dave as a kind, caring and very humorous guy!
