Many memories with Dave from his visits to West Virginia, to Christmas parties, to outerbanks vacations. He was a trooper when it came to hanging out with all of us women. We will truly miss him.

  Daves passing stunned all of us who knew him. His vitality for life was infectious and his loss reminded us of how fragile life can be. I most was struck by Daves sense of humor. He would often make witty remarks that seemed somewhat serious, but humorous at the same time. As I grew to know him I could usually detect the difference, but there were times when I had to ask him, Are you serious? Or, Is that true? The other part of that was that he had vast interests. From music and literature to sports and politics, there wasnt a topic that he that he could not converse about. When he made some glib remark about a topic you knew it could be true. Dave was humorous, knowledgeable and most of all a caring person. He would reach out to those in need, particularly to the DeRosa family when Joes health was failing. To those closest to him, there is a void that can never be filled. For us that knew him, our lives have been enriched by his presence. Thank you Dave!
