Obituary For Danielle Christen Mylenski

Danielle Christen Mylenski was the brightest and most caring soul that anyone could have the privilege to know. She brought love and happiness to everyone she ever met. Danielle was born early because she did not and would not wait to start spreading her warm caring nature. Even from the first day of her birth Danielle was this feisty bighearted fighter that showed the world what it was like to love.

When Danielle was younger and lived next door to her Grandparents, she could not wait to show how much she loved life. Every morning Danielle would wake up and not even bother to get dressed and run over to her Grandparents back stoop just in time to enjoy breakfast with the people she loved so incredibly much. This was Danielle’s true character and the true essence of her spirit that was on display throughout her entire life.

As Danielle grew older, she continued to display her huge heart and caring nature. Whenever, anyone reminisces or shares a loving memory of Danielle they often mention her numerous calls and the central theme is always the same caring, loving and nurturing. They often tell stories about how she got up early before anyone else and made a huge breakfast to ensure that everyone had a successful productive day. Danielle once even ran out sandwiches to her father and husband in the middle of a round of golf on the ninth hole, so they would have enough energy to finish the round.

Danielle was always the happiest when taking care of others. She was an excellent caregiver and routinely took care of anyone who was not feeling well. She would always ensure that you had medication, extra blankets and even food that you may not have wanted, but her goal was to get you well and that was going to happen if you wanted it or not. Additionally, Danielle would often give things to those in need. She would donate money, clothes and even household items to practical strangers just because she wanted everyone to feel the same warmth and love that she possessed so deeply. She would take in animals, even the most frightened stay cats and make them the most loving pet you could imagine. Danielle had an endless capacity to give and to love and everyone around her felt it.

While Danielle had this huge heart, she also had a feisty spirit. Those of you that know both Danielle and her sister Tara know that they are very similar and loved each other deeply. Growing up they were not only sisters but best friends. As with most siblings they had their ups and downs and would fight from time to time. I guess this all started when they were young, with Danielle deciding to come home early and disrupt the natural flow of things. According to legend young 3-year-old Tara decided she wanted her own room and apparently got Danielle out of her crib and dragged her down the hall to their mom and her friends and announced, ‘I do not want to share a room with this person’. After that they quickly became loving sisters and best friends and would often joke about their rocky start. After fights they would often jump up and down on the bed and listen to ‘I will survive’ and just laugh.

Danielle would always call the ones she loved on a regular basis. She would talk with her mom and dad daily and would frequently speak with her Gram and Aunt Meg (Danielle’s God mother). She was the most loving daughter and granddaughter and cherished them all profoundly. All three of them passed in 2019 within a few short months and Danielle because she loved so deeply felt that loss the most. It took some of the wind out of her sails, however she always had God’s light with her, and she knew she would be with them again someday. We are all deeply saddened that this day came way too soon but it is comforting to know that she is now experiencing real joy and external peace.

What we will miss most about Danielle is the laughter and her loving and caring nature. However, it is comforting to know that her spirit lives on and is seen in her niece, Camille. Just last week, Camille in true Danielle fashion was at the beach and no joke not even bothering to get dressed in her swimsuit went straight into the Ocean. At that very moment a wave of sadness passed as you could see blue-eyed, blonde Danielle running over to her grandparents’ house with nothing on waiting for breakfast with the ones she loved. Danielle’s spirit will definitely live on in Camille, as I hope her ability to love deeply and unconditionally will live on in all of you.
