Lit a candle in memory of Clyde Underwood Guyton

I wont never forget when uncle Clyde would come over and help me, Andrew and dad to split wood and he would say; hit it like you live. I will always remember every time after church he always had lemon drop candy to give me and Andrew. One of the biggest influences of uncle Clyde was his love for Christ. I love you uncle Clyde and I will not forget everything you taught me!!

I have many great memories of Uncle Clyde when he and Ernestine lived behind my grandparents in Bladenboro. Loved seeing him and talking to him! Uncle Clyde, you will be missed.

Pam, I regret that I never met your dad but so glad to see his picture. It helps put a picture now on the stories you have told me. I am glad that you and your family were able to be with him these last days though I have some idea of how painful it is too. Please know that you and your brother and sister and your Mom are in my thoughts these days, I wish that there were more I could do from this distance. I will be thinking of you all as you celebrate your dad's life tomorrow. Blessings. Hugs from Minnesota.

Mr. Guyton was always a gentleman. He was always polite and well dressed. You could feel the love between Mr. and Mrs. Guyton. Mrs. Guyton always put his needs before anything else. It has been an honor to know them. Anita

Clyde was such a precious person! Our family always enjoyed getting together with Ernestine and Clyde. We considered them our adopted parents and dear friends. Clyde loved his ice cream! He will be missed!
