Obituary For Clyde Cecil ""C.C."" Pipkin

Clyde Cecil â??C.C.â?? Pipkin, Jr. passed into the presence of his Savior on November 9, 2011. C.C. was born on August 9, 1926, in Raleigh, N.C. to the late Clyde Cecil Pipkin, Sr. and Lula Mae Joyner Pipkin. He worked at N.C. Steel as a steel fabricator and constructor before retirement. C.C. was foremost devoted to the Lord and served faithfully during his many years at North Ridge Bible Chapel. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid biker, often biking many miles each day. He cared much for others and sought to uplift and encourage them in the things of Christ. He focused on telling others of their need for salvation. C.C. is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lee Pipkin, son, Robin E. Pipkin, and wife, Molly F. Pipkin, grandchildren Stephanie, Lauren, and Andrew Pipkin, sisters, Dollie P. House, Hazel P. Hunt, and husband, Charles, all of Raleigh, sister Estelle P. Lewis of Concord, sister-in-law Gladys Pipkin and many nephews and nieces. Interment will be at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at North Ridge Bible Chapel, 7100 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh, N.C. Friends will be received following the service. The family thanks the gracious and caring staff of Pittsboro Christian Village and UNC Hospice for their superb attention and care as well as the physicians, nurses, and staff at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Durham, N.C., for their excellent medical care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittsboro Christian Village, Inc. 1825 East Street, Pittsboro, N.C. 27312.

    Mrs. Pipkin, Robin and family, I was so saddened to learn of your loss. Mr. Pipkin was a wonderful, kind, Godly man and I know that you will greatly miss him. May God be with each of you and bring you peace and comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
