Obituary For Clare Virginia Gay

Clare Virginia Gay, age 79 peacefully passed away on August 1, 2019. Clare was born on May 15, 1940 and was preceded in death by her husband John, her son Brian, her daughter in law Jill, and her grandson Travis. She is survived by her son John Gay of Vernon, NJ and his children Steven, Stephanie, and Christopher; son James and his wife Joan of Raleigh, NC and their children Jennifer and John Michael; son Kerry of Mount Pleasant, SC and his son Andrew; daughter Kelly of Melbourne, FL; daughter Tracy Thompson and her husband Matt of Melbourne, FL, and their children Jessica, Matthew, and Olivia; and son Erin and his wife Kathy of Oakland, NJ and their children Shane and Tanner, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Clare loved her family above all else and was an amazing Mom, wonderful Aunt, and an extraordinary Grandma. The family will be holding a private memorial service in the future.
