Mrs. Clara Sue Ashe Kelly, 82, died on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Cary Health and Rehab in North Carolina. Sue, as she was known to many, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Elbert and Ethel Burdell Cogdill Ashe. She was born on November 29, 1936 in Waynesville, North Carolina. Sue attended Western Carolina University and became a Nurse Administrator primarily working for the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX.

Sue wed Robert D. Kelly, who was a member of the U.S. Army. They were the proud parents of son, Jeffrey Brown. Sue will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery alongside Robert.
