I am sorry to learn of your family sorrow. The death of a loved one is difficult. If I may, I'd like to share scripture found in your Bible that may help. Please take a moment to read John 6:40, 44 and Ps. 36:9.

"Those we hold closest to our hearts never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they have shared and the love they brought into our lives" Chris brought joy and happiness into the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Chris was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I especially loved her sense of humor; it was great. She kept that humor and positive thinking even during the tough times. My heart goes out to you, Todd and Zack. She loved the both of you so much. My prayers are with you. Love, Sally

Dear Todd and Zack, We were so shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden loss of Chris. Our hearts break for you in your loss. I feel so badly that when I brought the soup on Tuesday that I told her I would stop by and visit with her when we return from Pa. We should never put off what we should do that day. We are so sorry that we are out of town with family in Pa. and will not be able to be there for the services. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. I pray that you can find comfort in knowing that she passed peacefully and did not suffer the extreme effects of this horrible disease, though I know this sudden passing is so difficult on the family. We will be with you in thoughts and prayers during these days ahead for your comfort, peace and strength and fond memories of your loved one. Bill and Donna Judd

I worked with Christine during my first year of teaching (1995-96) at Southern Durham HS. She was in my department and served as our Special Populations Coordinator. Christine was very helpful and kind to me as I was so naive!! I am so sorry she has passed; she was a wonderful person and teacher.
