Obituary For Cheryl Lynn Goddard

Cheryl Lynn Goddard, age 68 of Raleigh, North Carolina, died on Jan. 3.

Lynn is survived by her husband Benn Goddard, her son Brian Goddard of Raleigh NC, and her parents, Dr. Malcolm Page and Madge Page of Augusta GA , and her brother Lee Sutter and wife Sherry of Atlanta GA and her brother Malcolm Page, Jr. of Plant City FL. Lynn will also surely be missed by her beloved canine companions, Ginger and Lily.

A personable woman, Lynn embraced her life fully and opened her heart completely to her children as well as the many animals she adopted over the years. She very much enjoyed decorating her home to mark the changing seasons and holidays, but held a special place in her heart for Christmastime. Lynn enjoyed being retired, but she held many fond memories of the workplaces and the coworkers and people who touched her life in significant ways.

The family will receive visitors and friends on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 5:30 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Transitions Lifecare http://transitionslifecare.org/donate/donate-now/ or the ASPCA http://www.aspca.org/

Lynn was a dear friend and a ton of fun when we were in high school. Over the years we lost touch, but I never forgot her smiling face. RIP Lynn. My condolences to Binx and the entire family.
